Eve:-

The name of the 'mother' of humanity is NEVER mentioned in the Quran constituting a very important and revealing attitude by Muhammad vis a vis the females of the species.

In fact neither the names of Sarah, the wife of Abraham and the symbol of 'Islam', nor the name of Hagar, the mother of Ishmael, the alleged father of the Arabs, are mentioned either; a remarkable omission considering their importance in the scheme of things 'Islamic'.

7: 19        O Adam! dwell thou and thy wife in the garden and enjoy (its good things) as ye wish: but approach not this tree or ye run into harm and transgression."

7:20        Then began satan to whisper suggestions to them bringing openly before their minds all their shame that was hidden from them (before): he said "Your Lord only forbade you this tree lest ye should become angels or such beings as live for ever."

7:21        And he swore to them both that he was their sincere adviser

7:22        So by deceit he brought about their fall: when they tasted of the tree their shame became manifest to them and they began to sew together the leaves of the garden over their bodies.  And their Lord called unto them: "Did I not forbid you that tree and tell you that satan was an avowed enemy unto you?"

7:23        They said: "our Lord! we have wronged our own souls: if Thou forgive us not and bestow not upon us Thy mercy we shall certainly be lost."

7:24        (Allah) said: "Get ye down with enmity between yourselves.  On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood for a time."

7:25        He said: "therein shall ye live and therein shall ye die; but from it shall ye be taken out (at last)."

The above verses do not reflect the story described in the Bible at all, since they contain several important differences:

First of all, the Bible speaks of Eve being tempted by the serpent first and then she tempted Adam. A very important thing to bear in mind while reading the Bible is that descriptions of an event do not necessarily imply endorsement of the actions.

Adam was just as guilty as Eve but was trying to 'pass the buck' to her while she was doing the same with the serpent. In the Quranic verses above, we are told that BOTH of them were tempted simultaneously which was obviously not the case.

Secondly, it was the serpent which was doing the guile work and not Satan.

Thirdly, it was from the Tree of Knowledge that they ate and not from the Tree of Life. These very important differences - and hundreds upon hundreds more in the Quran - between the ORIGINAL versions in the Bible and those of the Quran show CONCLUSIVELY that the angel Gabriel was  MISLEADING and DECEIVING Muhammad by 'reciting' to him  completely different versions of the events that the Almighty told to Moses DIRECTLY.

Fourthly, in Muhammad's Quran, the garden of Eden is in Heaven from which Allah threw Adam & Eve DOWN to Earth.

In the tradition of Muhammadan Islam, Eve/ Women are the source of the evil that fell upon Men/ Humankind because she was tempted to break Allah's rule at the instigation of the Satan/Snake.

Sahih Muslim 8: 3471
Muhammad is recorded as saying "Had it not been for Eve, woman would have never acted unfaithfully towards her husband"

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 4.547        Narrated byAbu Huraira
The Prophet said, "But for the Israelis, meat would not decay and but for Eve, wives would never betray their husbands."

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 4.611        Narrated byAbu Huraira
The Prophet said, "Were it not for Bani Israel, meat would not decay; and were it not for Eve, no woman would ever betray her husband."

Muhammad's opinion of WOMEN is perfectly understood and eloquently pointed out by his child bride Aisha, in the following Hadiths that require no further comments:

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 1.486        Narrated byAisha
Do you make us (women) equal to dogs and donkeys? While I used to lie in my bed, the Prophet would come and pray facing the middle of the bed. I used to consider it not good to stand in front of him in his prayers. So I used to slip away slowly and quietly from the foot of the bed till I got out of my guilt.

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 1.493        Narrated byAisha
The things which annul prayer were mentioned before me (and those were): a dog, a donkey and a woman. I said, "You have compared us (women) to donkeys and dogs. By Allah! I saw the Prophet praying while I used to lie in (my) bed between him and the Qibla. Whenever I was in need of something, I disliked to sit and trouble the Prophet. So, I would slip away by the side of his feet."

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 1.498        Narrated byAisha
It is not good that you people have made us (women) equal to dogs and donkeys. No doubt I saw Allah's Apostle praying while I used to lie between him and the Qibla and when he wanted to prostrate, he pushed my legs and I withdrew them.

*** The female followers of Muhammad - about 650 millions of them - are treated by their male counterpart as chattel, as sexual slaves and as if they are just a notch above domestic animals, without human rights or dignity as proven by their treatment in most of the 55 or so 'ISLAMIC STATES' in the world ***
