Labbayka/Talbiya:-

A verbal formula frequently repeated during the rituals connected with the Hajj/Pilgrimage; it is called Talbiya because it begins with the words   Labbayka Allahumma Labbayka {At your service, O Allah, at your service}. This is the answer or proclamation - in Arabic - that one is ready for the command or instructions of someone else, especially from Allah.

Muhammad - as was his forte - copied this from the pagan Arab pilgrims who had to shout their intreaties to their idols while circumambulating the Ka'ba and running between Safa and Marwa such as "Labbayki  O Manat  Labbayki!"

In his KITAB AL-ASNAM, HISHAM IBN-AL-KALBI, reported upon the
pre Islamic pagan Arabian traditions as follows:

Thus whenever the Nizar raised their voice the tahlil, they were wont to say:

"Here we are O Lord! Here we are! Here we are!
Thou hast no associate save one who is thine
Thou hast dominion over him and over what he
possesseth

In Arabic: " labbayka allahumma labbayka labbayka lak illa sharikun husa lak tamlikuhu wa.ma malak"

They would thus declare his supremacy through the talbiyah and at the same tune associate their gods with him placing their affairs in his hands.

The Bible has its own version in  Abraham's response to God calling his name.

Gen 22:1" And it came to pass after these things, that God tested Abraham, and said to him, Abraham; and he said, Behold, here I am" and in Gen 22:46.

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 2.621        Narrated byAbdullah bin Umar
The Talbiya of Allah's Apostle was : "Labbaika Allahumma labbaik, Labbaika la sharika Laka labbaik, Inna-l-hamda wan-ni'mata Laka walmulk, La sharika Laka."  (I respond to Your call O Allah, I respond to Your call, and I am obedient to Your orders, You have no partner, I respond to Your call. All the praises and blessings are for You, all the sovereignty is for You, and You have no partners with you.)
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 2.622        Narrated byAisha
I know how the Prophet used to say (Talbiya) and it was: "Labbaika Allahumma Labbaik, Labbaika la sharika Laka labbaik, Inna-l-hamda wan-ni'mata Laka walmu Lk, La sharika Laka."

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 2.641        Narrated byJabir bin Abdullah
We came with Allah's Apostle (to Mecca) and we were saying: 'Labbaika Allahumma Labbaik' for Hajj. Allah's Apostle ordered us to perform 'Umra with that Ihram (instead of Hajj).

*** Muhammad, in the final analysis, ISLAMIZED all the Pagan Arabian traditions and fetishes except for having any associates with Allah.

Everything that his PAGAN Quraysh tribe used to perfrom was very conveniently WRAPPED in the mantle of 'ISLAM' ***
