21Nay this is a Glorious Qur'an
22>(Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved!
# "Inscribed in a Tablet Preserved", i.e. Allah's Message is not ephemeral. It is eternal. The "Tablet" is "preserved" or guarded from corruption: xv. 9: for Allah's Message must endure for ever. That Message is the "Mother of the book": see n. 347 to iii. 7.#
*** Since the Quran was 'recited', it was never inscribed on any Tablet.
This description is an imitation of the beliefs of the Jews that the Tabletsof the Ten Commandments and the Torahhave their archetype - holy scripture - preserved in HEAVEN.
Once more, the QuranPLAGIARISES another tradition from the
People of the Book and arrogates it to its followers.
There is not one single new and practical concept, precept, idea or thought in the whole of the Quran that is equal to or superior to those in the Bible and Scriptures.
